Carol Gast Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor the life of Carol Gast. Throughout her life, Carol has quietly and humbly built a successful legacy through old fashioned hard work and integrity. Nothing was given and everything was earned in her lifetime. Carol, along with her husband, Scott, started out together working two to three jobs to make ends meet. She then committed her time to one of the most important jobs in the world, raising her children full time. Throughout that time, Carol unselfishly placed her family first, in front of her own self. She was the unsung hero of the family, generously giving herself to the needs of her children. She continuously has exemplified sacrifice and service. Carol Gast represents the unsung and hardworking individuals of the world. While their efforts are often only known to a few, their impact transcends a legacy of making the world a better place. This scholarship recognizes the hard work and sacrifices of a well-deserving student trying to better themselves and achieve their dreams of being a college graduate.
