Cameraman Jack Memorial Scholarship

NTC staff member, Deb Yellow Thunder, established this scholarship as part of the Employee Giving Campaign in 2018 to honor her father’s memory. Her dad was a cameraman for Channel 7 until he passed away in 1977. He worked various live, in-studio shows (news, noon show, “Romper Room”) but found his greatest pleasure in broadcasting from the Eagle River Snowmobile Races and at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau. He had other duties, like working in the production room and building news sets, but loved being behind the camera best.
