Jason Weiland Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of Everest Metro Detective Jason Weiland who died in the line of duty on March 22, 2017. His friends established this scholarship as a lasting tribute to his bravery and service to community. Through their efforts, the scholarship reached an amount allowing it to be endowed, meaning it will continue to honor Jason’s memory and assist students for years to come. It is designated to be presented annually to a continuing student in year two of the Criminal Justice program.
