Marshall McKillop Ravenscroft Scholarship

Marshall “Buck” Ravenscroft served in the United States Army as an Airborne Special Forces Green Beret. He moved to the Reserves when his oldest of three daughters was born and started a career sawing concrete for CWS in California. Buck’s grit, integrity and commitment allowed him to earn a living wage, which provided for his family and funded all three of his daughters’ college education. His middle daughter Emily, who he calls “Red,” went on to earn her Masters and PhD. She now works at Northcentral Technical College as the Executive Dean of Academic Excellence. The Marshall McKillop Ravenscroft Scholarship is awarded to a student in the trades who is developing a skill set at NTC that will help them build America’s future and provide for their own family, just like Buck did.
