Cassandra Holt Ravenscroft Scholarship

Cassandra “Cass” Ravenscroft was raised in San Jose, California and attended college at Fresno State University. She competed her Bachelors in three years and married her sweetheart, Buck, upon graduation. She went to work for Hewlett-Packard where she served as a programmer and manager, building her technical and leadership skill set through the turmoil of Y2K. She raised three daughters: Jeannine, Emily and Amanda. Cass served as recruiter, advisor, mentor and advocate throughout each of her daughters’ college education. The Cassandra Holt Ravenscroft Scholarship is awarded to a female student in the IT or technologies programs who is developing the kind of critical thinking and problem solving skills that made Cass an exceptional employee and even better mother. Cass’ daughter Emily is the Executive Dean of Academic Excellence at Northcentral Technical College.
