Barbara and Carl Drake Scholarship
Barbara and Carl Drake have been active supporters and volunteers throughout the Wausau area since moving here in 1991. They have a vision for a society in which every individual has achieved their maximum potential and believe the path to this vision is through access to education. Barbara and Carl established this fund with the hope of assisting students who demonstrate the potential to utilize their further educational training to make a positive impact on their communities and contribute to the greater good of society.

“I am sincerely honored to have been selected as the recipient of the scholarship. Now with your help, I can pursue my big dream that I have had since I was child, that is to study in this country. When I was child, my parents used to ask me what I wanted to do when I grow up. I always answered that I would like to speak two languages and work with successful people making enough money to help people that want to study, like me. My educational pursuits would have not been possible without your generous donation to the scholarship.”
