Anna Schreiber-Compassionate Care Nursing Scholarship

The Compassionate Care Nursing Scholarship was established in 2024 by NTC staff member Anna Schreiber, to honor the nurses at Aspirus Regional Cancer Center, in Wausau, for their enduring kindness and commitment to cancer patients. Cancer Center Nurses need to exhibit exemplary beside manner and extraordinary compassion as they help patients navigate one of the most difficult medical journeys one might endure. The Compassionate Care Nursing Award recognizes a continuing NTC nursing program student who embodies the virtues of patience, empathy, and compassion for the individuals they will one day care for.
