Angie Lemmer Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Angeline “Angie” Lemmer was the loving mother of seven children, all of whom attended Wausau West High School. Angie had dreams of becoming a nurse, yet never had the opportunity, which is unfortunate since her love and care for others would have made her a wonderful nurse. This scholarship was established in Angie’s memory following her untimely death in an automobile accident in 2006, and is awarded annually to a Wausau West student with plans to enter the nursing field.

“I would like to thank you for selecting me for the NTC Angie Lemmer Memorial Scholarship. It has been my dream for many years to become a nurse. I am very excited to be a part of the amazing hands-on experiences and the strong programs that NTC has to offer. I have always loved helping people through difficult times. Nursing allows me to help people get back to their lives and families everyday. I have worked hard to prepare myself for this next step, and now that this dream is finally beginning I cannot thank you enough for the Angie Lemmer Memorial Scholarship, which will help me in pursuing my dream.”
